RITES OF PASSAGES

The skills that have been required of the wise woman or witches in the past are not that different from witches today. The services that I and my Coven can provide are;

Hand fasting

This is a romantic Ritual based on the Celtic tradition lasting for a year and a day, showing the village that you belonged together. After the period of a year and a day the couple would “tie-the-knot” for real. Nowadays couples have known one and other for awhile and go for the tying of knot, a marriage.

Coming to the circle in a carriage or walking to the Circle on your favourite poem, with your family and friends around you. The circle is truly a meeting place of old, and consecrated with flower wreaths. Candles and sweet smelling incense.

Enter as equal partners promising your own vows of passion to your beloved. While your hands are tenderly bind by a pink cord, the fasting of the hands. For happiness together you jump the broom, cheered on by your family.

A beautiful ceremony, to combine the Celtic past with our present lives, woman and man as a couple.

Your choice and options will be carefully discussed in advance, and you will get all the assistance that you require with the vows.

Each couple is unique and so will be your Rite!

We are happy to conduct this ritual for and with you. When you have chosen your location, the Circle will be prepared, and the altar dedicated to the God and the Goddess Within the prize also included;

The decoration of the circle,

Specially blessed anointing oil,

Handmade incense,

The rose- red cord.

The cost for any of these rites are £50.00 in or near in the Sussex-area. If you choose another location within the possibilities, travelling expenses will be taken into consideration.
